Spring break is supposed to be a relaxing time away from classes for college students all across the country. No, we’re not naive enough to believe everyone chooses the “relaxing” vacation, and that was never more evident than Tuesday afternoon.
Instead of enjoying a nice time, a brawl broke out among several patrons at the beach – including a number of football players. According to a video released by Jordan Strack of WTOL-11, a former Bowling Green alum, a few Bowling Green State football players were involved in the altercation.
The team has already acknowledged the existence of the video. Here it is.
Multiple BGSU Football players were caught on camera in a fight on the beach in Miami. I talked to Mike Jinks. He says they're aware of the situation and they're handling it internally. There were no charges filed. Jinks said "I'm very disappointed and we are investigating." pic.twitter.com/ptlGZli3Ch

The team released the following statement:

Any BGSU student found to have violated the student code of conduct will be held accountable. The student athletes may also face discipline from the football program.
Bowling Green finished the season with a 2-10 record. Names have yet to be released.
