On Wednesday afternoon, TMZ released video of Chad Kelly's arrest. The former Denver Broncos quarterback was arrested after he trespassed into a couple's home.
Kelly, who has had his share of off-field issues in the past, was arrested in Englewood, Colorado on October 23, 2018. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing.
Details of the incident were wild. According to the Chad Kelly arrest affidavit, he entered a couple's house, sat on the couch, and was hit with a vacuum tube until he left.
Well, a few months later, video of the incident finally came out.
It's just as wild as the story.
Kelly gets chased out of the house with a vacuum cleaner attachment. He then looks back at the owner of the house for a minute before walking off.
The Broncos released Kelly after the incident.
General manager John Elway released a statement about the move:
"This was a decision that we made as an organization," John Elway said. "After reviewing all the information and in talking with Vance and Joe, we agreed that releasing Chad was the right thing to do."
The former Ole Miss quarterback was sentenced to one year of supervised probation. Kelly was also sentenced to 50 hours of community service and will be forced to pay fines and fees.
