Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left tonight's game against Tennessee with an apparent lower-leg injury. It did not look good.

Tagovailoa, who dealt with ankle and knee issues in 2018, appeared to suffer an ankle injury late in the first half of the game against the Vols.

Replay of the injury looked pretty brutal:

ESPN has since announced that Tagovailoa is OUT for the remainder of the contest.

Tagovailoa has reportedly left Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium, presumably to get further checked out.

Stay tuned for the latest on Tagovailoa.

Alabama is leading Tennessee, 21-13, midway through the third quarter.
