Urban Meyer spent six seasons as Florida’s head football coach. He’s in his seventh year leading Ohio State’s program.
Saturday, the Buckeyes held their annual spring game at Ohio Stadium. Despite cold, rainy weather, more than 40,000 fans showed up for the glorified exhibition.
Among those watching: a ton of former Ohio State greats. Ryan Shazier, Malcolm Jenkins and many others were on the field for Saturday’s scrimmage.
After the game, Meyer brought up all of the Ohio State greats. Well – he tried do.
Meyer accidentally said “Gator greats” before quickly stopping himself. He corrected it with “Buckeye Greats.”
Hey, it happens.

“Urban Meyer misses UF” seems a little strong, but whatever.
Perhaps Florida’s new head coach, Dan Mullen, will propel the Gators to the College Football Playoff in the near future and we’ll get a UF-OSU matchup on the national stage. That would be pretty awesome.
