ACC Starting QB Suspended For First 3 Games Of 2018 Season

A college football quarterback and tight end have been suspended for the first three games of the 2018 season, the program's head coach announced today.

Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson announced this afternoon that quarterback Kendall Hinton and tight end Thomas Cole have been suspended for the first three contests of the upcoming season.

The duo is suspended for a violation of team rules.

"Head Coach Dave Clawson announced today that quarterback Kendall Hinton and tight end Thomas Cole have been suspended for the first three games of the 2018 season due to a violation of team rules," Wake Forest announced.

These are major suspensions, as Hinton is projected to be Wake Forest's starting quarterback, while Cole was projected to be a potential contributor on offense.

Wake Forest's first three games of the 2018 season are at Tulane, vs. Towson and vs. Boston College.

Hinton and Cole would return on Sept. 22 against Notre Dame.
