Washington State vs. Colorado preview:

Washington State started off the season with a pair of three-point losses to Eastern Washington and Boise State. Since then, the Cougars have reeled off eight straight wins and brings one of the longest winning streaks in the FBS into a matchup with a solid Colorado team. Wazzu enters this matchup coming off of back-to-back games in which it dominated, first in a 69-7 win over Arizona and second in an impressive 56-21 win over Cal.

Another 8-2 team from the Pac-12, Colorado's two losses this season have come against very quality opponents. The Buffaloes dropped a 45-28 game against Michigan, and then lost a very close 21-17 contest against the USC Trojans. The Buffaloes enter this game on a four-game win streak and holds the reigns in the Pac-12 South for a potential matchup against Washington in the Pac-12 Championship Game.

The Cougars and Buffaloes have played nine times in history, with the Buffaloes holding a 5-4 advantage.

Washington State vs. Colorado prediction:

This is a tough game to call. Wazzu enters this game on a huge win streak and dominates on the offensive side of the ball. Meanwhile, Colorado is led by its defense, which has been one of the best in the country this season.

It all comes down to if the Buffaloes can slow down the Washington State passing attack. The Buffs will get it done in the defensive side of the ball and find plenty of running room en route to a win.
