Western Michigan wide receiver Carrington Thompson collapsed on the field after a nasty hit Saturday night.
A Western Michigan wide receiver collapsed on the field Saturday night in what was obviously a scary scene for all. Carrington Thompson, a senior pass-catcher, was clocked while making a catch across the middle of the field in the second quarter of his team’s game against Central Michigan. Thompson tried to get up, but fell to the ground after trying to take a few steps.
Western Michigan’s medical staff ran in quickly. He was helped off the field.
Let’s hope he’s alright. Let’s also hope he takes some time off to recover.
