Who ESPN's FPI Has As The Worst Team In College Football

ESPN Analyst Names Sleeper Team In The SEC In 2018

Here's who ESPN's computer has as the worst team in the sport.

Who's going to be the worst team in college football this season?

ESPN's Football Power Index has a guess.

The Worldwide Leader's computer model currently lists Texas State as the worst team in the country heading into the 2017 season.

Texas State, out of the Sun Belt, has an FPI rating of -21.2. It's the worst rating of any team in the nation by two full points, behind Charlotte at 19.2.

The Bobcats are projected to go 3-9 by the FPI and have a 0 percent chance of going undefeated, a 0.1 percent chance of winning the conference and only the 114th hardest schedule in the country.

It's going to be a tough season for Everett Withers, Texas State's head coach and a former assistant at Ohio State.
