Who's Projected To Be The No. 1 Pick In The 2018 NFL Draft

Here's who's projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in next year's draft.

The 2017 NFL Draft is over.

Of course, it's time to start looking ahead to next year's draft.

Who's projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft?

Fox Sports published a two-round mock draft for the '18 draft moments ago.

They have USC quarterback Sam Darnold going No. 1 overall.

Jets: Sam Darnold, QB, USC

The Jets, after cleaning house, get their quarterback in the (presumed) Heisman Trophy winner. Darnold has the arm strength, accuracy, intelligence, footwork, and plays in a pro-style system. Could be the best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck.

Darnold, following a standout redshirt freshman season that included a ridiculous Rose Bowl performance, enters the 2017 college football season as a Heisman Trophy favorite.

But we've got a long way to go before the 2018 NFL Draft gets here. Just last year, players like Brad Kaaya and Chad Kelly were being projected as possible No. 1 overall picks. Those players were taken in the sixth and seventh rounds today, respectively.
