Why Alabama's Reuben Foster Wasn't Invited To The NFL Draft

The former Crimson Tide star is projected to be a high pick, but he won't be at the draft.

Former Alabama star linebacker Reuben Foster is projected to be a high pick in the NFL Draft on Thursday night, but he wasn't invited to attend the draft in Philadelphia.

ESPN is reporting that Foster's non-invite is due to his incident at the NFL Combine. Foster was sent home from the combine in Indianapolis after getting into an argument with a worker at the hospital. He later apologized, sending a letter to all 32 teams.

Katherine Terrell of ESPN reports that the incident is why Foster wasn't invited to the draft.

Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster was not invited to attend the 2017 NFL draft because of an incident at the NFL scouting combine in March, according to a league source.

The league declined to comment on Monday.

Foster is a potential top-10 pick in the draft.

The NFL Draft starts Thursday at 8 p.m.
