The Mountaineers' quarterback was apparently very excited for his game.
Will Grier apparently couldn't wait to play his game this weekend.
West Virginia's new star quarterback took on Delaware State on Saturday. The former Florida QB threw for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 59-16 win that improved the Mountaineers to 2-1 on the season.
Grier was so excited for the contest, he was calling out plays in his sleep on Friday.
That's a tweet from Grier's wife, Jeanne, a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers' cheerleader. The two have been together for a while and have a daughter together.
Grier has taken to West Virginia very smoothly. He's already thrown for 1,027 yards and 11 touchdowns through three games.
West Virginia is set to take on Kansas next Saturday.
