Four-star point guard and former Washington signee Blake Harris is focusing on five schools.
Harris, who played for Capital Hill (N.C.) Word of God Christian Academy, committed to Washington last July and signed with the Huskies in November. He reopened his recruitment this month after U-Dub fired head coach Lorenzo Romar.
Since putting himself back on the market, Harris has received plenty of attention. Five schools in particular are left standing for his services, and he revealed them today on Twitter.
Harris’ top five consists of UConn, NC State, Michigan State, Rutgers and Missouri.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Harris is a top-150 player and the No. 29 point guard in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
As for his next stop, Michigan State and UConn offer the strongest basketball traditions, Rutgers would probably offer the most immediate playing time, Missouri would enable him to play with former Washington commit and five-star recruit Michael Porter Jr., and NC State is a bit of a wild card because they just hired a new coach.
We’ll see soon which program Harris ultimately opts for.
