Four-star small forward Terrence Shannon announced a commitment to DePaul one week ago. Today, he decommitted.

Shannon reopened his recruitment today. The Chicago (Ill.) Lincoln Park product originally picked DePaul over Illinois, Florida State and Maryland.

Shannon officially visited FSU in June before officially visiting DePaul on August 7.

He then committed to the Blue Demons a few days later.

Shannon is the No. 3 player in Illinois and the No. 90 player in the nation, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

DePaul also holds a commitment from four-star Romeo Weems. Weems is the No. 40 overall player in the 2019 class.

Getting Weems to sign would be a major coup, as the Blue Demons have had a couple of four-stars committed in the last two cycles, only to ultimately see them decommit and sign elsewhere.
