Five-star center Evan Mobley, the No. 1 recruit in the 2020 class, is off the board. Mobley announced his commitment to USC moments ago.
With his decision, the 7-foot Mobley makes it a family affair in Los Angeles. The Temecula (Calif.) Rancho Christian product’s brother Isaiah is a freshman with the Trojans, and his dad Eric is an assistant coach.
Isaiah Mobley was a five-star recruit in his own right and the No. 19 overall player in the 2019 class. He is part of USC’s heralded 2019 haul, which ranks sixth in the country.
Evan is the first commit for the Trojans for 2020, but what a commit it is. He is the highest-rated prospect to ever pledge to the Trojans.
On the strength of having Mobley alone, USC’s 2020 class is second in the Pac-12 and No. 15 nationally.

USC is coming off a 16-17 season under Andy Enfield, who is entering his seventh season with the Trojans. Enfield took USC to a pair of NCAA Tournaments in 2015-16 and 2016-17.
With this influx of talent for the Men of Troy, expectations will be high for Enfield in 2019-20 and beyond.
