Zion Williamson is committed.

The most-hyped basketball recruit in the 2018 class just announced his commitment. But before we get to that, let's break down where he was considering.

Zion Williamson, the No. 3 overall recruit in the '18 class, is announcing on his decision tonight on ESPN. The announcement came from his high school.

The 6-foot-6, 275-pound prospect had interest from several top schools, but only a few were viewed to have a shot. Here are the six: Clemson, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Williamson's recruitment has been volatile. At various points, Duke, Kansas and Kentucky have been thought to be the leader.

However, Clemson took the lead over the last few weeks, according to 247sports. The Tigers were seen as the favorite to land the in-state recruit.

Williamson rocketed to YouTube fame on the wings of his ridiculous dunks. There hasn't been a more popular recruit since LeBron James, although Williamson isn't the second coming of the King.

Without further ado, here is where Williamson will play his college ball. Williamson is taking his talents to Duke.

It's a big surprise to see Williamson select Duke as most thought he would be heading to Clemson. Duke now owns the top three players in the class of 2018.

Duke will easily own the No. 1 class in 2018 after landing Williamson. The Blue Devils now have commitments from four of the top eight players.
