Five-star E.J. Montgomery has a busy two weeks coming up.

Elite recruits in college basketball are sometimes referred to as "blue chip" recruits. Elite programs that have been college basketball institutions for a long time are commonly said to be "blue blood" programs.

Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler five-star power forward E.J. Montgomery certainly qualifies as a blue chip prospect. He's the No. 12 player in the 2018 class according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

This month, Montgomery has visits scheduled to a trio of blue blood programs. Literally.

Montgomery will visit UNC for tomorrow's game against Notre Dame. He then has a trip to Duke on Wednesday to see the Blue Devils play Virginia Tech.

Last but not least, Montgomery has reportedly scheduled a visit to Kentucky on February 24. The Wildcats host Missouri in a prime time Saturday night game that night.

A onetime Auburn commit, Montgomery recently trimmed his list to Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, USC, Georgia, Clemson and UCLA.

His 247Sports Crystal Ball is trending for the Blue Devils.

While Duke looks like the favorite for Montgomery right now, things change rapidly in college basketball recruiting.

One of the other 'blue bloods" could swoop in and ultimately land him.
