Darius Garland, a five-star point guard out of Tennessee, has committed to the Commodores’ program.
The No. 10 overall recruit in the 2018 class also had offers from Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville and UCLA, among others.

Vanderbilt could be in position to add another five-star recruit to its 2018 class, too, as power forward Simisola Shittu is seen as a Commodores’ lean.
