Five-star Charles Bassey has reportedly made his decision. The No. 2 center in the 2019 class, behind James Wiseman is headed to Western Kentucky.

Not only that, but Bassey will reclassify and enter summer school in order to play during the 2018 season. He's the No. 3 overall player in the class, trailing only Wiseman and Vernon Carey.

Bassey had offers from Kansas and Kentucky and several other major programs. However, he decided to join the Hilltoppers.

Western Kentucky was the overwhelming favorite to land Bassey. The Hilltoppers were the only team receiving predictions in his 247Sports Crystal Ball.

It's a huge get for WKU head coach Rick Stansbury, who has been recruiting Bassey since he was an assistant at Texas A&M. At that point, Bassey was playing high school ball in Texas.

Bassey is a native of Nigeria, but he's quickly established himself as one of the top high school players in America. At 6-foot-10, Bassey has tremendous size and should create an instant impact.
