Five-star small forward Scottie Lewis is one of the top players in the 2019 class. He has no shortage of college choices.

Lewis narrowed his list of options down to seven finalists tonight. One of those schools was a bit of a surprise.

Lewis' finalists are Duke, Kentucky, Villanova, Florida, St. John's, Stanford and...Harvard.

It isn't often you see Harvard listed as a contender for the No. 10 recruit in the country.

But the Crimson are in the mix for Lewis.

Now, it is expected that Lewis will pick a basketball power, and there is a precedent here. Last year, Wendell Carter Jr. included Harvard among his final schools before ultimately signing with Duke.

At the very least, Lewis looks like someone who values an education.

Having Harvard and Stanford on your short list indicates that.
