While college football has most of the recruiting news this week, five-star basketball recruit Ashton Hagans is set to come off the board.

Ashton Hagans is the No. 11 overall played and the second-ranked point guard in the class of 2019.

The Covington, Georgia native is the top-ranked recruit from the Peach State for his class.

Georgia and Georgia Tech are among the schools that have been after his most, but he has also heard a ton of national powerhouse Kentucky. Moments ago, he announced that his decision is coming tonight.

Last month, he told 247Sports about the five schools that have been recruiting him the hardest:

Kentucky: “Great coaching staff and they get pros and are always in the top 10.”

Georgia: “They are in-state and home and close to everybody. My family could come see me. That’s the same with Georgia Tech too.”

Georgia Tech: “Coach Pastner and the way he coaches, and gets his players ready and their conditioning and all that.”

Florida: “They just stay in contact with me and we have a great relationship. They all show love.”

Florida State: “They show me love. They said they’d get pieces around me and try to get to me go there really hard.”

247Sports' crystal ball likes the Wildcats as the favorite, with 67-percent of the voters selecting Kentucky as his eventual destination.

Wherever he's heading, we'll find out soon.
