Usually this time of the year is way too early to be looking ahead toward next season, but college basketball fans are probably very eager to see what’s in store for the 2021 campaign. After all, the NCAA Tournament was just canceled due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak.
The odds have been released for which teams have the best shot at winning the 2021 NCAA Tournament. According to Odds Shark, the Virginia Cavaliers have the best odds of winning next year’s tournament.
Virginia should have standout guard Kihei Clark and forward Jay Huff at its disposal. Head coach Tony Bennett has commitments from a pair of four-star recruits in Jabri Abdur-Rahim and Reece Beekman.
Following Virginia on the list for betting odds is Gonzaga. Mark Few has a star-studded duo he can rely on in Filip Petrusev and Corey Kispert. The Bulldogs also hold claim to the No. 9 recruiting class in the country, per 247Sports.

It’s not a surprise to see Kansas and Kentucky toward the top of the list. Bill Self and John Calipari always restock on five-star talent.
Perhaps the one team on the list that may shock people is Creighton. Ty-Shon Alexander, Denzel Mahoney and Marcus Zegarowski all have remaining eligibility. If they all return for next season, the Bluejays will be tough to stop in the Big East.
Other programs high on the list for betting odds includes Baylor, Duke, Florida State, Louisville and Wisconsin.
