CBS Sports has updated its “Top 25 And 1” rankings following Saturday’s games, and there are a couple of changes near the top.
Gary Parrish handles the rankings, which he updates a few times a week. Yesterday, Parrish’s No. 2 team, Virginia, lost to his No. 4 squad Duke. It completed a series sweep for the Blue Devils over the Cavaliers.
As a result, Parrish dropped Virginia down to No. 4, with Duke moving up to No. 3 and Gonzaga sliding up a spot to No. 2 behind Tennessee.
With Louisville falling out of the top 10, Michigan State is back in after the Spartans snapped a three-game losing streak. Marquette is knocking on the door of the top 10 as well after holding off Villanova.
Parrish’s current top 10 is below:
- North Carolina
- Michigan State
