College championship week rolls along. CBS Sports has just put out its updated top 25 rankings.
There is a major change at the top of Gary Parrish’s “Top 25 And 1.” Gone is Gonzaga, who lost its conference title game last night to St. Mary’s.
The loss drops the Zags from No. 1 to No. 3, with Virginia assuming the top spot. North Carolina moves up to No. 2. Coincidentally, the Cavaliers and Tar Heels are also the top two seeds in this weekend’s ACC Tournament in Charlotte.
The rest of Parrish’s top 10 remains unchanged. You can see it below:
- North Carolina
- Texas Tech
- Michigan State
You can read the full rankings here.
Conference tournament play continues today with the Big Ten Tournament getting underway and the ACC continuing.
Surely, Parrish’s “Top 25 And 1” will undergo some more changes over the next few days.
