Chris Mack Appears To Address Ohio State Coaching Vacancy With Latest Tweet

It doesn't look like Chris Mack is leaving Xavier any time soon.

On Monday, Ohio State AD Gene Smith and head men's basketball coach Thad Matta held a joint press conference to announce Matta's dismissal from the program. In the days that followed, several names began to surface in regards to the head coaching vacancy. Among those names shouted the loudest was Xavier head coach Chris Mack.

A Cleveland native, Mack led Xavier, his alma mater, to the Elite Eight of the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Today, he sent out a tweet that appeared to address the rumors connecting him to the Ohio State head coaching vacancy.

Many believe this tweet solidifies that Mack is not leaving Xavier for Ohio State. Mack is entering his ninth season in charge of the Xavier program, and it looks like he's not going anywhere. Unfortunately for Ohio State, that makes the coaching search all the more difficult.
