The college basketball season is very young, but we learned a good amount about some of the top teams in the country.

Most notably, we learned that Duke is absolutely terrifying. The Blue Devils ran what is expected to be a very good Kentucky team out of the building in Indianapolis last week.

Duke followed it up with a pretty run of the mill win over Mike Krzyzewski's alma mater Army, so maybe they won't be crushing everyone by 40 points this season.

It is no surprise that Duke has jumped up to No. 1 in the AP Poll after a week of play, vaulting over Kansas.

Sportsbook Bovada has updated its college basketball national championship odds after the first week of play.

Duke is now at +200 to win the whole thing. For the laymen, that means one must bet $100 to win $200.

For this early in the season, it is crazy to have one team as that overwhelming a favorite, but Duke's freshmen are absurdly talented.

Kentucky comes in at +700, while Kansas is at +800.

Assuming Duke has a few clunkers coming in ACC play, this probably isn't the best time to throw money at them, with the line at just +200. Still, it is hard not to be impressed by what we've seen thus far.
