On Thursday afternoon, the NCAA announced all spring sporting events and championships were canceled amid concerns about coronavirus.
Among the championships canceled was the NCAA Tournament, much to the chagrin of basketball fans everywhere. The players and coaches who waited their entire careers for the tournament will have to keep waiting.
As for the rest of us, we can only imagine what the tournament would have brought, and which team would have won it all. Well, lucky for the fans out there, college basketball analyst Dick Vitale didn’t let the NCAA Tournament’s cancellation stop him from making a prediction.
Dickie V took to Twitter on Friday morning to reveal what his pick would have been for the 2020 NCAA Tournament. He thinks the Florida Sate Seminoles would have cut down the nets at the end.

Florida State performed well throughout the 2019-20 season – especially in conference play.
Dickie V also believes in Seminoles head coach Leonard Hamilton. The longtime basketball analyst picked Hamilton as his Coach of the Year.
Despite the strong season, the Seminoles were not the favorites to win the NCAA title this year. The Kansas Jayhawks were set to enter the tournament as the No. 1 overall seed and the favorite.
Who would have won?
