Here's Where 5-Star Point Guard DJ Carton Is Predicted To Commit

The recruitment of one of the top point guards in the country is nearly here. The five-star prospect revealed the top three schools he's considering less than a week ago, and he's reportedly set to make his decision today.

D.J. Carton, the No. 2 point guard in the 2019 class per 247Sports' Composite Rankings, revealed on Twitter last week that he was down to just three schools. Carton holds 19 offers.

Those schools:

  • Indiana
  • Michigan
  • Ohio State

Carton, a 6-foot-2 point guard out of Iowa, had previously been considering Iowa, Marquette and Xavier, but he cut those schools from his list. The Hawkeyes won't be landing the services of the state's best player, unfortunately.

Carton is ranked the No. 22 overall recruit in the country by 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He's the No. 2 point guard in the country, as well.

So, where is he predicted to land? Michigan is considered the favorite to land him - but only by a slight margin.

He's expected to make his announcement soon.

Stay tuned.
