Harry Giles made his decision between the NBA and college.
Despite a subpar freshman season, Harry Giles is headed to the NBA.
Duke announced the news.
The No. 2 recruit in the 2016 class, behind Kansas' Josh Jackson, Giles went into the 2016-2017 season as a projected No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. Fox Sports pegged Giles as the No. 1 big man in the 2017 Draft class, but after a knee injury derailed his season, there is some doubt about his future.
Giles went through left knee arthroscopy early in the 2016-2017 season and missed six weeks before making his season debut. The top-rated high school prospect struggled in his return, averaging 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
Despite his struggles, Giles is still projected to be a first round pick. Draft Express has Giles being drafted by the Utah Jazz with the No. 24 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
