ESPN’s Basketball Power Index has updated its college basketball top 25 as we head into the middle of January.
The 2019-20 college basketball season is starting to really take shape. Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas and Michigan State have solidified themselves among the nation’s best.
Ohio State was perhaps the most-impressive team early on, but the Buckeyes have lost three straight games.
ESPN’s computer is still high on Chris Holtmann’s squad, though.
Here’s the latest top 25:
- Michigan State
- Ohio State
- San Diego State
- Florida State
- West Virginia
- Seton Hall
- Penn State
A couple of big-time games are taking place tonight, with Oregon playing Arizona and Memphis facing Wichita State.
This weekend is highlighted by Kansas’ bout against Baylor.
