ESPN’s newest Bracketology is out.

Conference play is rolling along in college basketball. The countdown to March Madness is on.

Over the weekend, the chalk mostly held in the sport, and the top three teams in the AP Poll remained unchanged. Michigan State, Kansas, UNC, Cincinnati and Xavier all made nice jumps in the top 10 though.

If the polls are changing, you know the NCAA Tournament bracket is changing as well. The field is constantly shifting this time of the year, and it is up to bracket "experts" to sort out all the clutter.

ESPN’s Joe Lunardi put out another updated “Bracketology” today, which shows his up-to-the-minute interpretation of how the NCAA Tournament bracket is shaping up.

Lunardi will do two new brackets a week from now until conference tournament time.

This is when he earns his money.

Here are the top seeds in each region for the latest 68-team field.

East Region:

  1. Villanova
  2. North Carolina
  3. Ohio State
  4. Texas Tech

Midwest Region:

  1. Purdue
  2. Kansas
  3. Clemson
  4. Cincinnati

South Region

  1. Virginia
  2. Xavier
  3. West Virginia
  4. Auburn

West Region:

You can see Lunardi’s full bracket here. Older versions of the bracket are also available.

Also, he has another update coming Thursday. Given the way college hoops has been going, expect some changes.
