The 2019 NCAA Tournament is almost exactly one month away. Selection Sunday is set for March 17 and the tournament begins a couple of days after that.

We can't wait. The NCAA Tournament's three-week stretch is one of the best times of the year in the sports world.

The NCAA Tournament picture is starting to get clearer, with many of the top teams starting to lock in their high seed status.

ESPN NCAA Tournament guru Joe Lunardi updated his bracket projection late on Monday night. He has a new No. 1 seed.

The four No. 1 seeds right now are:

East No. 1 seed: Duke

Midwest No. 1 seed: Kentucky

South No. 1 seed: Virginia

West No. 1 seed: Gonzaga

Kentucky has a chance to really cement its status as a possible No. 1 seed this week, as the Wildcats have a home game against Arkansas and then a road contest at No. 7 Tennessee.

The other teams in possible contention for a No. 1 seed are Michigan, Tennessee, Michigan State and North Carolina.
