Saturday was an action-packed day in college hoops. ESPN has updated its top 10 accordingly.

Virginia Tech and Kentucky scored major wins over Syracuse and Kansas respectively, while Virginia and Duke took care of business in conference play. Tennessee showed why it is No. 1 in the AP Poll by handling West Virginia in the SEC-Big 12 Challenge.

While the Vols might be No. 1 according to the media, they aren't the first team in ESPN's top 10. That would be Virginia.

ESPN's top 10, according to its BPI, currently looks like this.

  1. Virginia
  2. Gonzaga
  3. Duke
  4. Michigan State
  5. Tennessee
  6. Virginia Tech
  7. North Carolina
  8. Michigan
  9. Kentucky
  10. Purdue

You can look at the full BPI rankings here.

Most of these teams will be in the top 10 when the AP and Coaches' polls are released tomorrow, but the overall rankings will look different.

For instance, Purdue isn't even ranked in the AP poll, though that could change very quickly if they are able to upset Michigan State today.
