The Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament begins today, as the first showdown on the schedule is between Florida State and Gonzaga. It should be an exciting game as both sides enter this game coming off double-digit victories.

Florida State dismantled Murray State in the Round of 32. Mfiondu Kabengele led the team in scoring for that contest with 22 points.

Gonzaga took care of business with Baylor in large part because Brandon Clark finished with 36 points. While Rui Hachimura was uncharacteristically quiet in the previous round, the junior forward shouldered the load.

When it comes to firepower for the starting lineups, the edge leans with the Bulldogs. However, the Seminoles have so much depth and basically use line changes over the course of 40 minutes.

These two programs met in last year's Sweet 16, but Killian Tillie didn't play during that game. With him ready for action tonight, ESPN is siding with Gonzaga for its prediction.

According to the matchup predictor, the Bulldogs have an 86.0 percent chance of winning the game.

Florida State will be without Phil Cofer once again as the senior deals with the tragic loss of his father.

Tipoff is set for 7:09 p.m. ET from Honda Center.

Winner of this matchup will face either Texas Tech or Michigan in the Elite Eight.
