Oddly enough, the first round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament will feature a rematch from last year. If the Michigan Wolverines are going to make another championship run, then they'll have to defeat the Montana Grizzlies once again.

Michigan won the previous meeting due to an impressive performance from Charles Matthews. While that team had Mo Wagner anchoring the frontcourt, the emergence of Ignas Brazdeikis certainly helps this year's roster.

Even though the Wolverines will be favorites for tomorrow's matchup, the Grizzlies have the talent to pull off a stunner. More importantly, the team has the upperclassmen to stay composed in pressure-filled situations.

The most significant player for Montana will be senior guard Ahmaad Rorie, who averages 15.1 points per contest. He'll need to shoulder the load if star forward Jamar Akoh is still out of action.

Despite the revenge factor playing a role for this rematch, the Wolverines are undeniably favorites to advance on Thursday.

ESPN's matchup predictor gives Michigan a 95.3 percent chance of advancing to the Round of 32.

Michigan vs. Montana NCAA Tournament

Regardless of how Michigan ended its conference championship, John Beilein has shown he could lead his team to an improbable winning streak at any moment.

Tipoff for this showdown is at 9:20 p.m. ET from Wells Fargo Arena.

Winner will face Nevada or Florida in the following round of the tournament.
