Here’s ESPN’s new NCAA Tournament projection.
We’re now less than a month away from Selection Sunday. Yesterday marked the four-week countdown until the NCAA Tournament.
The NCAA Tournament selection committee unveiled on Sunday its top 16 teams at the moment. The committee then seeded those 16 teams into four different regions.
Virginia is the No. 1 overall seed, per the committee. Villanova, Xavier and Purdue are the other No. 1 seeds.

No. 1 seeds: Virginia, Villanova, Xavier, Purdue
No. 2 seeds: Cincinnati, Auburn, Duke, Kansas
No. 3 seeds: Texas Tech, Michigan State, Clemson, UNC
No. 4 seeds: Tennessee, Florida, Arizona, Ohio State
No. 5 seeds: Rhode Island, Oklahoma, Gonzaga, WVU
No. 6 seeds: Miami, Saint Mary’s, Wichita State, Michigan
No. 7 seeds: Creighton, Alabama, Texas A&M, Arizona State
No. 8 seeds: Butler, Nevada, TCU, Kentucky
