ESPN Releases New NCAA Tournament Projection – Feb. 19
Selection Sunday is only three weeks away. The NCAA Tournament is almost here.
This year's field should be an interesting one. There are several teams that look like they are "elite" but no one has stepped forward as a clear-cut favorite.
When that happens, it usually means we are in for some true March madness.
With the Big Dance around the corner, ESPN’s resident bracketologist, Joe Lunardi, has since updated his NCAA Tournament projection.
Here are his projections for the top seeds:
No. 1 seeds: Virginia, Villanova, Xavier, Kansas
No. 2 seeds: Michigan State, Auburn, Duke, Purdue
No. 3 seeds: Texas Tech, Cincinnati, Clemson, UNC
No. 4 seeds: Tennessee, Wichita State, Arizona, Ohio State
No. 5 seeds: Rhode Island, Michigan, Gonzaga, WVU
No. 6 seeds: Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Florida, Kentucky
No. 7 seeds: Creighton, Alabama, Butler, Missouri
No. 8 seeds: Florida State, Nevada, Arizona State, Miami (Fla.)

Selection Sunday is set for March 11.
