ESPN’s newest Bracketology is out.
Conference play is heating up, and we're seeing plenty of upsets. This is when college basketball really starts to get good.
Over the weekend, No. 2 West Virginia fell at Texas Tech and No. 4 Michigan State was upset by Michigan in East Lansing. That's not all either.
No. 11 Arizona State lost to Oregon and barely survived Oregon State, and 12th-ranked Kansas had a scare against Kansas State. There were more near-upsets as well.
All of these results had an effect on the latest AP Poll, and they most certainly changed the ever-adjusting NCAA Tournament bracket.
ESPN’s Joe Lunardi put out another updated “Bracketology” today, which shows his up-to-the-minute interpretation of how the NCAA Tournament bracket is shaping up.
Lunardi will do two new brackets a week from now until conference tournament time. This is when he earns his money.
Here are the top seeds in each region for the latest 68-team field.
- Texas Tech
- North Carolina
- Wichita State
- West Virginia
- Michigan State
- Seton Hall
You can see Lunardi’s full bracket here. Older versions of the bracket are also available.
Also, he has another update coming Thursday. Given the way college hoops has been going, expect some changes.
