ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Williams was one of many experts who picked Arizona to go far in this year's tournament.
In fact, Williams picked the Wildcats to win the national championship. It made some sense given they finished the regular season hot and won the Pac-12 Tournament, plus they have Deandre Ayton.
Well, Williams' pick doesn't look very good right now. Ayton and the Wildcats are down 17 points to Buffalo late in the second half.
The 13th-seeded Bulls have dominated Arizona, exposing the Wildcats' poor defense and rebounding. Ayton has largely been invisible.
Williams is feeling the heat, as evidenced by this tweet he sent.
The impossible looks very real, Jay.
Buffalo is only five minutes away from pulling off a monumental upset. They'd be busting a lot of brackets in the process.
We'll keep you posted.
