There are perhaps no bigger rivals in college basketball right now than Iowa's Caitlin Clark and LSU's Angel Reese.

Iowa and LSU met in the national title game last year, which was won by the Tigers. They will meet again in the Elite Eight on Monday evening.

Ahead of the matchup, Reese made her thoughts on Clark very clear.

"I don't think people realize it's not personal," Reese said.

"Once we get out between those lines, if I see you walking down the street, it's like, 'Hey, girl, what's up? Let's hang out.' I think people just take it like we hate each other. Me and Caitlin Clark don't hate each other. I want everybody to understand that."

It's a respectable answer, that's for sure.

"The big media accounts won’t show or post this. When Caitlin respected Angel it was on espn, wespn, bleacher report, barstool sports etc," one fan wrote.

"This won’t be all over the internet outside of Louisiana sports outlets though," one fan added.

"Angel and CC have both said this over and again. When people don’t understand competition they turn everything into a controversy. Especially with young women and especially especially with young black women," one fan added.

Iowa and LSU will meet in the Elite Eight on Monday night.
