On Thursday night, the Michigan Wolverines were in action against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. After making it to the Sweet 16, the Wolverines laid an egg in their biggest game of the tournament.

Michigan scored just 16 points in the first half, setting a program-record for the lowest-scoring half. Despite all of their struggles in the first half, it didn't get much better in the second half for the Wolverines.

During the course of their disastrous performance against Texas Tech, everyone made the same joke about John Beilein's team.

Everyone suggested this was the worst performance for a Michigan team since the Wolverines were embarrassed in The Game - in football.

Here's just a snippet of the reaction from fans watching at home.

Ouch.

Michigan is shooting just 31-percent from the field on the night and still doesn't have a three-point shot with under seven minutes left in the second half.

It's been a historically poor shooting performance for the Wolverines, who haven't played a full game without a three-point bucket since 2013 - against Michigan State.

Texas Tech holds a 56-33 advantage with just over six minutes left on the clock. The Red Raiders appear on their way to a matchup with Gonzaga in the Elite Eight.
