On Thursday afternoon, Yale took on LSU in the Round of 64. It was the first NCAA Tournament game for both teams and just the third game of the tournament.

The 2019 tourney opened with an upset loss, because of course it did. Minnesota took down Louisville by a final score of 86-76 to secure the first upset of March Madness.

The Bulldogs had an upset on their minds late in the game against LSU on Thursday afternoon. After hitting just 3-of-15 three-pointers in the second half, Yale hit four in a row to cut LSU's lead to just three points with under a minute to play.

However, the Tigers hit their free throws and escaped with a win.

After the game, everyone made the same joke about Yale.

Yale was embroiled in the college admissions scandal that rocked the college landscape.

Women's soccer coach Rudy Meredith allegedly accepted a bribe to pretend a student was a women’s soccer recruit in order for her to be admitted to the college.

Those watching from home couldn't help but make a few jokes at the school's expense.

Meanwhile, LSU moves on to take on the winner of this afternoon's contest between Maryland and Belmont.

Stay tuned.
