A former top recruit is reportedly considering leaving his program in the middle of the season. Kentucky point guard Quade Green is reportedly unhappy with his role on the team through the first 10 games of the season and he wants out.
According to Kyle Tucker of the Athletic, Green is “strongly considering” a mid-season transfer. Just a few months ago, Green announced his return to the Kentucky program – a move that Wildcats fans rejoiced about.
However, just a few months later, it appears he wants out.
Here’s more from Tucker.

Green is a former top high school recruit. The Philadelphia high school star was the No. 5 point guard recruit in the 2017 recruiting class.
He was expected to play a significant role for the Wildcats this season after yielding the starting role to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in 2017. However, Green’s minutes per game dropped from 25.6 to 17.8 from last season to this season.
