The NCAA Tournament field has been trimmed considerably. Just 16 teams remain alive in the Big Dance.

Pre-tournament contenders Virginia, Arizona and Michigan State were all stunned during the opening weekend. No. 1 seed Xavier, No. 2 seed Cincinnati and No. 2 seed North Carolina went down as well.

That leaves us with a handful of big-name programs left, along with some upstarts. It should be fun to watch things play out.

Bovada has released its updated NCAA Tournament odds. Duke is now the favorite with 13-4 odds.

Villanova, Gonzaga, Kentucky and Michigan round out the top five. Syracuse, the final team into the field, is at 66-1 after a flurry of upsets.

Here are the full odds.

We could get the two favorites, Duke and Villanova, in a national semifinal matchup. That would be fun. Gonzaga and Michigan could square off for the right to get to the Final Four as well.

The Sweet 16 will begin Thursday night.
