We're down to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. That was fast.
There are several teams still standing that weren't expected to be here. The entire left side of the bracket has been chaotic and wonderful at the same time.
How many people expected Kansas State and Florida State, a pair of No. 9 seeds, to make it this far? Not to mention 11th-seeded Loyola-Chicago, which is riding high and may have some divine help courtesy of Sister Jean.
As it turns out, not one person in ESPN's Tournament Challenge nailed the Elite Eight as a whole. Zero people out of more than 17 million participants.
That shows you how crazy this tournament has been.
The Elite Eight starts tomorrow with the wild side of the bracket. Kansas State plays Loyola, with Florida State meeting Michigan.
On Sunday, Villanova plays Texas Tech in the early game. Kansas and Duke will cap off the weekend.
The four winners will convene in San Antonio next weekend for the Final Four.
