Stanford grad transfer Reid Travis is one of the top players still on the market in college basketball. He’s an instant impact guy for whatever program he goes to.
Travis withdrew his name from the NBA Draft and then announced he was transferring. He has two schools in contention: Kentucky and Villanova.
According to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Travis has scheduled his visit to Kentucky. He’ll check out UK sometime next week.
Travis will officially graduate from Stanford this weekend.

Travis was a two-time All-Pac 12 selection. He’s eligible immediately next season.
The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 19.5 points and 8.7 rebounds last season. In 2016-17, he averaged 17.4 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest.
Both Kentucky and Villanova have room for Travis after losing key players to the NBA. He should step into the starting lineup for either school.
We’ll keep you posted.
