On Saturday night, Virginia and Texas Tech secured their spots in Monday night’s national title game by taking down Auburn and Michigan State respectively.
The Cavaliers used a last-second series of free throws from star Kyle Guy to secure their spot in the title game. The Red Raiders followed suit, taking down the Spartans with a stellar defensive effort.
Both teams will have a day to recover from their Final Four contests in order to get ready for Monday night’s title game.
Every fan watching at home made the same joke after the game. Fans at home suggested the winner of the title game might not even need to break 60 points.
Virginia and Texas Tech are two of the lowest-scoring teams in college basketball, so points will be at a premium on Monday night.
The initial betting line has Virginia as a 1.5-point favorite in the contest.
The over/under has been set at 119 points.

It’s an incredibly low point total, but considering Virginia needed just 63 points to take down Auburn and Texas Tech needed just 61 points to take down Michigan State, it’s definitely possible.
Virginia and Texas Tech tip off on Monday night at 9:00 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on CBS.
