Jameer Nelson's Son, Jameer Jr., Announces College Commitment

The son of longtime NBA point guard Jameer Nelson has announced his college basketball commitment.

Jameer Nelson Jr., a 2019 guard out of Pennsylvania, has committed to George Washington University.

The son of the NBA veteran had previously been committed to his father's alma mater, St. Joe's.

Nelson spent the 2018-19 season at Haverford School, which had one of the top high school teams in the area.

Jameer Nelson, 37, played in the NBA from 2004-18. He was the national college player of the year in 2004 and made the NBA All-Star Game in 2009.
