The brackets are out, and the nation's college basketball experts are weighing in. Jay Bilas just gave his predictions on ESPN.
The NCAA Tournament could be wide open this season. There are some great teams, like Virginia and Villanova, but no one enters as a massive favorite to cut down the nets.
Over on ESPN, the top college hoops analysts all gave their final fours and national championship predictions. Bilas has a pretty interesting field.
In the East, he likes Villanova. The Wildcats won the Big East Tournament on Saturday night, knocking off a hot Providence squad.
He went with the No. 1 seed in the South as well. Virginia has a dominant defense, and he thinks they'll make it through a talent-rich field.
Bilas did not go all chalk, though. He has two three-seeds making it to the Final Four.
In the West, he likes Michigan to continue its hot play from the Big Ten Tournament. Michigan State is one of the nation's most talented teams, and he likes the Spartans in the Midwest.
Jay Bilas's national championship pick was also revealed.
He has Virginia beating the Wolverines. The Cavaliers have the best defense in the country, and a solid, efficient offense to go with it.
On the other side of the bracket, Bilas likes Michigan State getting by the 2016 national champion Wildcats. Miles Bridges is one of the best players in the country, and we could be ready for a Jaren Jackson breakout.
In the final, Bilas is taking the Michigan State Spartans over the Virginia Cavaliers. That would be a heck of a match-up.
