College football season is just getting started, but before long, college basketball will be back. Teams can begin practice in just a couple of weeks.

Soon, you will see a ton of preseason top 25 lists start to be unveiled. Jeff Goodman just revealed his this week.

Goodman, who is now at Stadium, released his top 25 on Monday.

Here is Goodman's top 10:

  1. Kentucky
  2. Kansas
  3. Duke
  4. Gonzaga
  5. Virginia
  6. Nevada
  7. North Carolina
  8. Villanova
  9. Tennessee
  10. Auburn

Goodman's top 10 is interesting, as you see traditional "blue blood" programs like Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and UNC mixed in with Nevada, Auburn and Tennessee, teams you don't often find ranked among the best in the country.

Strictly going off talent, this looks like a year that Kentucky or Duke's one-and-done players could lead their team to a title. However, there's a lot of time to go between now and March, and anything can happen.
