Jermaine Harris is set to make his college decision on Friday and it appears that he’s whittled down his list a bit.
On Saturday, reports emerged that Harris was ready to make a decision, with a number of schools in the mix. In July, he announced a top eight of Kansas, Maryland, Miami, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Southern Utah, West Virginia, and Xavier.
With just days remaining before his announcement, Harris now has three schools left in the mix.
According to Adam Zagoria, Harris’s father says that Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Xavier are the finalists.
Jermaine Harris will announce on Friday at 3 pm between South Carolina, Xavier and Rhode Island, his coach tells me.

Harris also holds offers from Georgetown, Georgia, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and others.
247Sports ranks him No. 80 in the class of 2018, No. 22 among power forwards, and No. 5 in Maryland. The site’s crystal ball has Xavier as a favorite in this recruitment, but with only a few predictions registered, it is far from a sure thing that he will wind up a Musketeer.
